Our Story

The Cheetah Group was established in California on June 11, 2003.

Its founding partner G.W. Mix, is a former collegiate lacrosse coach, who has spent the past two decades working in the sports marketing and event management fields. 

A former executive at ESPN, Mix left the company in 2003 to move to the West Coast where he formed the Cheetah Group. Ironically, the company's first client was his former employer ESPN who hired the Cheetah Group to oversee the SoFi Hawai‘i Bowl in Honolulu.

Since that time, the Cheetah Group has effectively established itself as a multi-service agency, providing advertising, event management, 
graphic design, and other areas of support to a variety of clients.
